Can the watches get rusts or look worn over time?
Yes, most of the watches can get rusts and look worn over time.
For leather strap watches, the leather straps usually can get scratches or signs of wear, depending on the use. But you can usually get your straps replaced easily.
For chain straps, if the straps are made of metals, they can get rusts over time, especially if it gets exposed to sweat and other liquid. Stainless steel straps are more durable, but can still get scratches.
The signs of wear on vintage accessories should be embraced as part of their identity. They are not merely defects; they are the marks of history that tell the stories of previous owners. Understanding this perspective allows for a greater appreciation of vintage items, transforming the way we perceive and value them in today's market.

How do I make an order?
All the items available on this website are in stock. So please feel free to add them into your cart and check out! If you wish to ask us further questions, don't hesitate to hit us up on our instagram DM.
P.S: Don't forget to check your wrist circumference with a measuring tape and compare it to the info on the products page to make sure the watches you purchase will fit you.
What is the return policy?
- As all of our watches are vintage, purchases are not eligible for refunds or returns. Instead, every watch is backed by our 15-day warranty, starting from the day your package is delivered. If your watch experiences an eligible warranty issue, we'll gladly assist with the necessary repair or servicing rather than a refund. To make a shipping insurance or warranty claim, please make sure you have a unboxing video (from before opening the package until the watch is fully unpacked, with no cuts or edits). If your warranty claim is approved, the return shipping cost to us is the customer's responsibility, while Meire Vintage will cover the shipping cost of sending the watch back to you after servicing.
- Our 15-day warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use or customer negligence. This includes, but is not limited to: Accidental drops or impacts, Water or moisture damage, Misuse or improper handling, Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or opening the watch by another technician, Damage caused by normal wear, accidents, or external factors after delivery.
- Every order includes shipping insurance. If your parcel is lost or damaged during transit, you may submit a claim directly to the shipping carrier. As the insurance is provided by the courier, all claims are handled according to their policies and procedures.
- Vintage watches require proper care to keep them in good condition. Please refer to our Wear & Care guide for tips on daily use, storage, and maintenance to help extend the life of your watch.
- Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order. If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address provided by the customer or because it was left unclaimed, the customer will be responsible for the reshipping cost.
- Every Meire Vintage watch is authentic, vintage, and pre-loved. As a result, each piece may show minor signs of age or gentle wear that reflect its history and character. We carefully inspect every watch and provide detailed photos and descriptions so you know exactly what to expect. Can I request a watch or consign my own?
Absolutely! If you're looking for a specific vintage watch, simply send us a DM on Instagram @meire.vintage with the watch name or a photo. We'll do our best to source it directly from Japan through our trusted partners and auctions. Please note that because vintage watches are rare, we can't guarantee we'll find every model. If available, the estimated pre-order time is 3–4 weeks (business days).
We also accept consignment if you'd like us to help sell your authentic vintage watch. Feel free to reach out via Instagram DM, and we'll be happy to discuss the details.
